The short version: this website stores nothing about you. If you ask for a quote, you send your details yourself, over WhatsApp or the email form, and they are only used to answer you and do the work you ask for.

1. Who we are
This website is run by Polly van der Poll, a consultant who introduces clients to Delicate Touch Painting Specialists (17 Midas Avenue, Olympus, Pretoria, 0081). Polly is the responsible party for personal information shared through this website. In this notice, “we” means Polly and Delicate Touch.

2. What we collect
Only what you choose to give us when you ask for a quote or contact us: your name or company, phone number or email address, the site location, and details of the job.
This website does not use cookies, analytics or any tracking, and it has no login or account.
3. How the quote form works
Nothing you type into the form is saved on this website.
- WhatsApp: pressing Send opens WhatsApp on your phone or computer with your brief filled in, and you choose whether to send it. From there it travels through WhatsApp, under its own privacy terms.
- Email: pressing Email it instead sends your brief from this website's server straight to Polly's inbox. The server passes it on without keeping a copy. To stop abuse, it remembers your device's IP address for up to an hour, only to limit how many messages can be sent.
4. Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a site visit.
- To prepare a quote and follow up on it.
- To carry out and guarantee the work you ask us to do.
We never sell your information, and we won't add you to a mailing list without asking you first.
5. Who we share it with
Polly passes your brief to Delicate Touch Painting Specialists so they can visit, price and do the work. Beyond that, only the people who need it to do your job: their site team and, where a guarantee requires it, the paint or product manufacturer. Otherwise, only when the law requires us to.
6. How long we keep it
For as long as we need it for your quote and the job, including any guarantee period, plus whatever record-keeping the law requires. After that we delete it.
7. Keeping it safe
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
8. Your rights
You can ask us:
- what personal information we hold about you;
- to correct it;
- to delete it;
- to stop using it.

If you're not happy with how we handled your information, you can complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
9. Other services this website loads
To display the site, your browser loads fonts from Google Fonts and photographs from Unsplash. Like any website using them, this means those services see your device's IP address. The WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp on your device, and messages sent with the email button are delivered by Google's Gmail service.
10. Changes
If this notice changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date.
